What patients say on Google
“First and foremost my provider and the staff are absolutely wonderful. But their policy on rescheduling is garbage. I called two days in advance to cancel an appointment because I was sick and had a scheduling conflict. Well, it's 48 hours, not 2 days. So because I called at 2pm on a Monday when my appointment was at 11:30am on a Wednesday, they charged me $100! On top of that, I even told the woman I canceled with that "If I get charged a fee, I can figure out a way to keep the appointment, but I'm calling 2 days in advance so I think i should be good". She didn't tell me the policy was 48 hours after I said that. I hope they have recorded lines so they can go back and listen to that. This is not good for anyone's mental health. What are they doing?”
“I can’t say enough bad things about this company. I interject that the providers were superb, good listeners and really compassionate. However, my prescriptions were not sent so the pharmacy called Lifestance to request authorization but nobody EVER called them back. Even after a week they did not call the pharmacy back. I also began attempting to reach them last week when I ran out of a crucial mental health medication . I take responsibility for the mistakes I made in this process , but I have never, ever been ignored like this for something so important.Fortunately I had a scheduled appointment with my provider this morning and she authorized a 3-month supply. I called Quartz and they found a number that was answered by Lifestance. During ALL of the calls, and I called all of the clinics, the only option was to go through the Patient Portal. The problem was that the patient portal wouldn’t allow me in because I was using the wrong information to sign in. It was the correct information. There was never an opportunity to leave a message. I found out my from provider that the answering device was out of operation. The best part was when the Lifestance customer service representative told me I was wrong because she didn’t see any message from me. Gotta wonder where they get these defects.”
“I was a bit nervous meeting my prescriber for the first time. Sometimes providers make me feel anxious, unseen, and unheard. My experience here was the exact opposite! I felt included in my care instead of having decisions made for me. She didn’t rush, taking the time to consider my wellness holistically. I’m grateful to have found someone I can trust. Thank you!”
“Overall, our experience was not good. I asked for specific therapist's availability and it took them several days to get back to me to tell me they weren't taking new clients, even though it said they were on their website. I then tried to use their online scheduler through their customer portal, but it linked me to a page with no clear way to schedule the appointment, after going through the registration process. I called and let them know about this and they said they'd try to address. Their cancel/reschedule policy requires more notice than any other provider I've been with (2-days). Lastly, we had a few sessions with a therapist who seemed receptive when we started couples therapy, but after a few sessions it became apparent to both partners that her perspective was rather one sided, not fully listening to or taking into account both perspectives. I do not recommend this organization.”
