How likely are you to recommend Chris Bermant, Psychiatrist?
“Overall I feel that Dr Bermant is a good Psychiatrist. He prescribes the meds that I need to be on, and he’s pleasant to talk to. I do kind of wish though that he could loosen up a bit on the visits with me. He’s very serious all the time. I’d love to see him joke around more and not feel like he’s so rigid. Also, one of the first appointments I had with him, when he saw that I’m on pain meds for a very serious physical condition I have that’s extremely painful, he gave me the kind of look you get when people suspect that you’re an addict. It made me feel horrible! Because I know that I’m not an addict. I rely on these pain meds just to be able to do normal everyday things. My “Activities of Daily Living.” Anyway, other than those few things, I’ve been mostly satisfied with him.”
“Kind, caring, compassionate doctors; therapists, and care teams to work together in the goal of making you feel your best self! They offer telehealth which is a big plus for many people, with flexible in and out of office visits to fit your needs. I am so happy with my current physician, and cannot recommend this place enough! They also offer many different treatment approaches aside from medication management. 5 Stars!”
“I wish I would have looked up this doctor’s reviews on other sites before scheduling a virtual visit. I was supposed to have an hour-long consultation to discuss whether getting a second opinion would be beneficial, but it felt like the doctor had already made up his mind about me before hearing why I was there. He used a lot of loaded language almost immediately and didn’t even seem to know why the receptionist- Monica ☺️ is so sweet and helpful and has such a great name, i put a whole star just for her 🫶🏻 had referred me to him in the first place. The overall interaction felt dismissive. He told me he tends to side with previous assessments and that I might not get “what I was looking for,” which completely missed the point of why I was seeking a second opinion. I’m not looking for a specific diagnosis. I’m looking for an accurate and thorough evaluation that takes my full history into account, including diagnoses I’ve previously been treated for. My concern with my prior assessment is that it relied heavily on cognitive tasks like puzzles and memory exercises, while spending very little time exploring my background, lifelong experiences, and the reasons I was seeking clarification in the first place. I left feeling like the doctor had already decided what my concerns meant before taking the time to understand them.”
“Good therapist and u like caring and nice they unlike my other renew counseling just rush me out the door as least listen to me and understand where im coming from I have to complaints about them so far so good for me”
